Tesla has been rumored to incorporate AMD graphics processing unit (GPU) for its infotainment systems.
Twitter user Patrick Shur shared on November 7 Tesla's alleged plans. He said on his tweet: "Tesla wants to use Navi 23 for their cars." Shur is a known AMD leaker of engineering news and samples.
While the original post shows some Navi 23 blueprints, which have been stamped by Tesla, Shur removed them to protect his sources. While this is not yet confirmed, Shar has already established his reputation and highly trusted for his past leaks about AMD specs.
Meanwhile, AMD has continuously been on the news with the numerous new product lines and company acquisitions. Shur's leaked document revealed that Tesla may be utilizing the upcoming Navi 23 GPU for its infotainment systems that brings both information and entertainment.

Aside from having a self-driving feature on an electric vehicle, Tesla owned will soon boasts their new infotainment system, which has been a yet another example to be jealous of.
According to Tech Radar, the AMD GPUs are rumored to be introduced system to the infotainment system because of the current Intel hardware, which has held back applications such as Tesla Toybox and Tesla Arcade. The ability to play games through the car's system was highly impressive. However, there is high possibility to include the AAA games in the system which is feels like a tease. just make sure the vehicle is stationary.
Nevertheless, AMD or Tesla has not yet released any statement about the rumor. While this news remains a rumor unless proven true, it is quite similar to Elon Musk's story in the past when Musk wanted to kick in his Tesla Truck and play Cyberpunk 2077.
AMD Big Navi's RDNA 2 Architecture
After Nvidia unveiled GeForce RTX 3070, GeForce RTX 3080, and GeForce RTX 3090, it is now AMD's time to unleash the beast of its own. While there are rumors as to Nvidia scheduled its launch earlier to get ahead of the holiday or just to roll out earlier.
While both RTX 3070 and 3080 appear to be reasonably priced, compared to the Turing launch. It would have been better for AMD to already launch Big Navi.
After AMD has officially unveiled Big Navi such as specs for the RTX 6800 XT, RX 6900 XT, and RTX 6800, Big Navi may put AMD's high graphics card power consumption behind it. Although Nvidia's RTX 30-series cards leave plenty of room for AMD, the 3080 and 3090 carry the highest Nvidia TDPs for single GPUs ever. The new RDNA 2 architecture powers Big Navi / RX 6000 / Navi 2x.

Big Navi/RDNA 2 has 5120 shaders and up to 80 CUs. The RX 6800 series will be coming on November 18 while RX 6900 XT will arrive on December 8. It offers 50% better wattage performance and can be availed for RX 6800 at $579, $640 for RX 6800 XT, and RX 6900 XT at $999.
