Vivian Chaves, an Eventbrite's virtual experiences expert, shares the best way to prepare a successful Thanksgiving celebration.

According to ABC News, Chaves suggests that it is crucial to make an experience that will meet your guests' needs. However, making the virtual celebration a fun experience is also essential.

"If you're aching to feel closer to family, think about how to make a safe, intimate event that will bring you together," she further explained.

"If you're looking to turn up the dial and make it a big party, start creating a fun, full-out event," she added.

Chavez also said that a landing page is essential for an online event since it allows you to invite friends and family members. You can also use the page to interact with the guests even before the event begin. An itinerary is just as important as well.

She explained that people must always send it ahead of time so that the participants will know what's coming to them. However, you don't need to include the special parts if they are surprises.

Since there are still restrictions implemented, the host can also send festive and tangible items so that the guests will feel that they are part of the party. It is a great way to make everyone feel like they're really there with each other, helping them to feel connected.

Changing background in Zoom

To make your Thanksgiving party even more fun, here's how you can change the Zoom's background. These step-by-step guide by Good Morning America will help achieve a unique virtual celebration.

1) Go to the settings at zoom.us in the web browser and activate "Virtual Backgrounds."

2) Open your desktop or browser's Zoom app or software.

3) Once you create a meeting or join one, you'll see the "Stop Video" option. Don't tap it. Instead, click the "^" arrow located at the right.

4) After choosing the upward arrow, the "Choose Virtual Background" will appear.

5) To change your background, all you need to do is click the "+" symbol and add your own background photo.
