Marvel's Agent Carter is Something Really Special and We Love It

Marvel's Agent Carter kicked off yesterday with two episodes and it was a blast. We haven't had this much fun watching a Marvel TV show since Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D is a show that is average in some instances. We know that only two episodes were released on Tuesday night, but those two episodes have us wanting more.

The interesting thing about Agent Carter is that it doesn't feel like a Marvel TV show, and that is one of the main reasons why it is so good. We especially love the art style of when Agent Carter is walking through the streets in colored clothing and everyone else around her are all dressed in grey and black.

The actress who plays Agent Peggy Carter, Hayley Elizabeth Atwell, was made for this role. She pulled it off superbly in Captain America: The First Avenger, and she performed even better in the TV show. The character is clearly a strong woman who is living in a male dominated world, and what she wants is for them to recognize her equally.

Obviously, this isn't going to happen anytime soon, but luckily, Howard Stark, Tony Stark's father, managed to get himself in a bit of a pickle, and she was the only person he could turn to for help. Chances are if it weren't for this, Carter would have never experience field work again, as her superiors only view her as a mere file manager.

We also love the scenes where Carter stands up for women who are being mistreated by men in the workplace. It tells a lot about her character as a person, and as a hero who is looking for the recognition she deserves from her male superiors.

For those who haven't yet watched Agent Carter, this is time. It's a show with tons of potential, and we honestly see most Marvel and none Marvel fans gravitating towards it more than Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. since it is so overwhelmingly awesome. We recommend this show wholeheartedly, and we hope it goes on for a second season because there is nothing like it on TV right now.
