Starlink Public Beta Will Expand More on January Amid Impressive 4K Video Streaming with 'Zero Bufferring'

Satellite internet provider Starlink shows impressive speed and strength on the internet connection as shared by satisfied early public beta users that claim to experience "zero buffering" while streaming 4K Videos on YouTube. Elon Musk even claims that public beta users would soon expand to lower states by January when they launch more satellites.

Next-generation satellite internet service provider, Starlink, shows promising early experience and high internet speeds shortly after selected public beta users who connect through its services testify to its breathtaking performance. The new US internet service would soon service the world when there are satellites enough to orbit the planet.

Starlink's Speedy Satellite Internet: 4K Video Streaming with 'Zero Buffering'

According to Redditor u/FourthEchelon19 posted in the r/Starlink community, the 1440p and 4K Video video streaming on the video-sharing platform, YouTube, streams seamlessly with "zero buffering" during the entire experience. The beta tester even shares that the internet service has been "100 percent steady" since its initial setup.

Hello There from r/Starlink

The Redditor even regards that the satellite internet gives steady speeds and strength despite having obstacles such as trees blocking its path. The beta tester even claims that the Starlink application even shows or says when one's internet service is blocked or "obstructed" by tall objects when the company's satellite passes through.

Currently, Starlink's latency records a low 34ms already, meaning that its ping to host and servers takes only 34 milliseconds to receive feedback or contact. The internet's ping is considerably low for a mostly remote service and continually moving or orbiting the Earth.

According to Elon Musk (@elonmusk), the internet's latency would soon improve "significantly," along with the bandwidth, which describes the connection service's maximum data transfer. The CEO's reply suggests that there would be a systems patch among its entire satellite system to provide better latency and bandwidth to the initial users.

Elon Musk: More Satellites mean more Public Beta Users by January for the Lower States

Elon Musk just announced earlier that he and the company would be sending up "several thousand more" Starlink beta participation invitations within the week. Those who will receive invitations would probably be those who signed up for the early beta and are currently on the waitlist for the internet service.

Additionally, Twitter fans threw questions at Elon Musk, asking whether "lower states" such as Florida would receive connections or the first public beta services. According to Musk, servicing to more states is possible, provided that there are adequate satellites to service the "low" states.

Elon Musk's reply suggests that Starlink would again join a SpaceX launch to place more satellites in orbit to service more people come January 2021. The CEO claimed this in his tweet, saying that it would be possible that there would be more public beta users in less than three months in the new year.
