Xiaomi might be creating a new foldable smartphone with a 108MP camera. There are also several leaks stating that the rumored product could feature a Snapdragon 800-series chipset.
Foldable phones are not popular since they don't have the fantastic features that high-tech smartphones provide. However, this type of mobile device is slowly entering the mainstream and becoming increasingly famous.
For example, Samsung made great strides with its second-generation foldable phones. This made the smartphone manufacturer currently the undefeatable leader in the foldable phone market.
And now, Xiaomi is taking the foldable phone industry to the next level. The market is expected to expand in 2021, and more Android OEMs might enter the competition.
Xiaomi's rumored 'Cetus'
The alleged Xiaomi foldable phone called "Cetus" was first uncovered within MIUI 12's code, as reported by Android Central. It revealed that the upcoming foldable phone is currently being tested running MIUI on Android.

Because of the alleged product, there's a chance that Xiaomi will enter the foldable phone market in 2021.
Xiaomi's MIUI 12 is being rolled out
Aside from the rumored foldable smartphone, Xiaomi is also working on its MIUI 12 stable update. The manufacturer's mobile devices are dictated more by their MIUI versions than the underlying Android version.
According to XDA Developers' latest report, XDAXiaomi Mi 9, Redmi K20 Pro/Mi 9T Pro, Redmi K20/Mi 9T, are the first batch of devices that received the improvement. Several POCO devices have also received the MIUI 12 stable update.
This is great for smartphones since it can provide new animations, a cleaner UI, new live wallpapers, and changes to navigation gestures.
MIUI 12 also brings privacy indicators for the camera, microphone, and location usage, as well as AOD designs.
