"Among Us" has put thousands of players on detective mode as this has become one of the hottest game currently available. Well, aside from tracking the impostor, the game also gives players various maps and tasks.
Currently, there are three locations now: The Skeld, Polus, and Mira HQ. However, a fourth map is still in production. To succeed in this game, one must learn all the maps and their respective killing zones to plot their gameplay properly.
Learn the major locations and kill zones
A reddit user created these amazing maps to help players with the game. According to the u/Samurai-Pipotchi: "I made some reference maps to help people learn the game.The plain ones have a transparent background, so they can be used for editing."
Each map includes a section where getting a kill is easiest because it is secluded, away from cams, and mostly near a vent.
The Skeld
In the center of Cafeteria is the emergency meeting on The Skeld. There are two triads of vents on each sides of the Cafeteria as well as two one-lined-paths on both ends of the ship. Security cameras cover the hallways of Admin, Security, O2, and Medbay.
Kill Zone: Electrical
The electrical is the most popular kill zone. The top corner shows a vent while there are several tasks as well as a sabotage fix inside it. There are no cams and it's isolated from the rest of the map. It's said that those who go in Electrical never come out.

Polus
Polus has two sets of inter-connected triad of vents, just like The Skeld. It also has two vents in the northern part, which are both on camera zones, and one string of three vents on the left. There are also camera zones on the central, eastern, and southwest parts. Polus is the biggest map of the game where in the emergency meeting is located in the Office.
Kill Zone: Specimen Room
The specimen room is the only kill zone with no vent and it is easy to trap someone there alone. However, it is hard to escape because of smaller decontamination rooms on each side. It is best to make a double kill there with another imposter. Also, it is vital that the other body is found before someone else enters the Specimen Room.
Mira HQ
Mira HQ is the only map where all vents are interconnected, which would allow you to have an easy escape after killing as imposter. This map has door log in communications while there is no security. The emergency meeting is located also in Cafeteria. Indeed, a real venter's dream!
Kill Zone: Decontamination
Decontamination is a large room, which is only accessible after the second door opens. Like the other rooms, decontamination is secluded from the other parts of the map. So unless you are an imposter, players should be extra careful in this place.
Regardless if you are an imposter or a crewmate, it is significant to know the ins and outs of each map to make playing a lot smoother. Imposters should plan out their paths and try to catch crew members alone while crewmate should first complete all their tasks outside of these areas before going in these danger zones.
