Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 3, a health tracking smart watch, is set to release an LTE version of its new wearable. This smartwatch is built on Google Wear OS platform which allows users to add apps, upgrading its capabilities and features.

Leaked Features of TicWatch Pro 3 LTE

The Google Play Console Device Catalog shows the features of this Wear-OS device under the code name "rover." Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 SoC, the new wearable device has improved responsiveness compared to other Google-powered watch.

In terms of design, it has a similar look with previous wearables but this one is a thinner version. Aside from its similar specifications, this will also include an eSIM functionality which will make it compatible with some cellular networks. Unlike other wearable devices which is heavier because of the added sim slot, the eSIM feature of TicWatch Pro is at a different level, dubbed as the future of wearables.

The Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 3 will allegedly get an LTE edition which is not surprising knowing that the TicWatch Pro 4G/LTE is already included in their lineup, XDA Developers report.

One of the impressive features of the watch is the ability to share existing Verizon phone numbers and doing VoLTE voice calls without using a smartphone. Messaging and SMS is also possible via the device.

However, Mobvoi did not say anything about the launch yet which may possibly happen at the end of the year or early 2021. According to Gadgets and Wearables, since the TicWatch Pro 3 is priced at $299, the LTE version could be $40-$50 more expensive.
