Most browsers are usually quite complicated pieces of software. With every single release of Chrome, it somehow includes certain fixes to address the security flaws that are discovered both within and outside of Google itself.
However, there are a few times that these security flaws are benign exploited just before the fix can widely be rolled out. This is exactly what happened with the Chrome and the Chrome OS. The fixes address security flaws found within both Chrome and Chrome OS.
Google's move against the 'zero-day' security vulnerability
Google has recently stated that it has finally fixed a "zero-day" security vulnerability that was found in Chrome, designated as the CVE-2020-15999. This is a particular memory corruption bug located in the FreeType font that renders the library that is already bundled along with Chrome.
The particular Project Zero, one of Google's own internal security teams, has found evidence pointing to the flaws being exploited to attack a few random Chrome users. To much thanks, the Chrome 86.0.4240.111 has finally begun to roll out just about two days ago along with the required security patch.
This particular piece of update could already be in the users' devices, but if not, it can be put inside the device with the use of the APK on the APKMirror. Or, there is also a possibility of both happening at the same time.
With the increased cyber attacks on different vulnerabilities even the NSA has released a particular list detailing 25 security bugs that alleged Chinese state-sponsored hackers have been targeting on Microsoft.
