"Pokemon Sword and Shield" will celebrate its DLC (downloadable content) called The Crown Tundra. The new map's celebration will launch a TikTok challenge in Japan, which will require the trainers to follow the dance steps of different Pokemon, such as Pikachu, Ash Ketchum's best pocket-monster buddy.
The Pokemon game became a popular hit on the Nintendo Switch for the past years. According to Dexerto's latest report, the RPG is the Pokemon franchise's third highest-selling release. On Oct. 22, it is set to receive its second DLC.
The upcoming release will be celebrated by a Poke-themed dance contest that will surely warm the hearts of both new and old players about exploring the new icy region.
The new TikTok challenge
The Pokemon Company International revealed the Japanese TikTok challenge on Oct. 15. Those who will download, as well as those who already installed the app, can now record themselves doing the dance craze.
They'll be accompanied by four Pokemon through a special filter. These include Morpeko, Wooloo, Kubfu, and of course, Pikachu.
