One of the world's forefront in electric vehicle manufacturing and clean energy company, Tesla, might have another development for one of its electric vehicle, the Model S, because of Elon Musk's teaser on social media. Twitter sees another great tweet from the CEO that is sure to rile up its fans.

Elon Musk uses social media Twitter, to interact with fans and publicize updates that concern the Palo Alto-based company. The co-founder also believes in self-advertisement and word-of-mouth through Tesla's fanbase, known to be one of the most loyal following on the platform.

Elon Musk: 3rd Row Seats, You Never Know

The CEO brings back his social media presence after his initial announcement of the $2,500 price slash for the Model S starting yesterday night. Tesla's fans are already excited to have more savings for the premium sedan, but Musk sweeps the public off its feet again.

A Twitter fan named "K10" (@Kristennetten), an avid fan of Tesla and SpaceX according to her profile, asks about the possibility of a "third row option" for the Model S. The fan's question was a reply to Musk's announcement of the Model Y's upgrade.

Again, Elon Musk's answer is another indirect answer, saying, "You never know," hinting that it may or may not come to the public's reach. Previously, Tesla's Model S had an option for a 7-seater capacity but was discontinued by its production.

The premium sedan's previous option for a third-row seating capability would not change much of the vehicle's interior. The changes made would be the division from the second-row seats to the trunk.

The fabric-lined division would be replaced with a pair of "rollercoaster" looking jump seats that are rear-facing, equipped with three-point seatbelts. The car trunk's liftback would now make way for a grown human being instead of a massive space for cargo. The "secret compartment" on the car's flooring would be a semi-sinked for more legroom.

Full-sized adults can be fitted at the rear-facing seats that are back-to-back with the second row; However, it may not be as comfortable as the latter's seating. Cargo would also be limited because of the additional seats at the trunk.

Elon Musk's previous announcement of the Model Y's third-row seating will roll out by December to the public and fan's orders. Almost all of the company's production-line vehicles will see third-row seats with Model S' recent teaser from the CEO.

Model X and Model Y were the mainstays with the 7-seater capacity in the company's EV variants. Model X and the recently-teased Model S will also see an additional row, but as jump seats and retro-fitted. The vehicles that would not be a part of this would be the Tesla Roadster, Semi, and Cybertruck.
