NICKMERCS is one of the most recognizable names in online games live streaming, particularly on first-person shooting titles. The influencer is known across the globe with his expertise as a "shooter-game specialist." NICKMERCS' skills are recognized even among the mainstream gaming community.

The influencer is known for his "Fortnite" and "Call of Duty Warzone" streams these days, primarily focusing on Twitch to be his leading live streaming platform. Currently, NICKMERCS has a massive 4.4 million followers on Twitch and growing.

The social media influencer is on a league of his own, with extensive experience as a professional e-Sports competitive champion in the Major League Championship (MLG) for the immensely popular title, "Gears of War."

Who is NICKMERCS?

Nick Kolcheff is a Michigan-based professional e-Sports player with multiple championship belts for Gears of War during his early career and the recent "Fortnite" world championships. The influencer is famous for his "rage moments" that he would often show his MERCS Fam, also known as #MFAM.

According to G Fuel Blogs, NICKMERCS began his gaming career in the early formative days of online gaming. The early in NICKMERCS' timeline is during the time where gaming is still taboo, and his parents would prevent him from playing video games, even going as far as smashing his Xbox console.

Early Gaming Career

The American Streamer began his career with Twitch, then known as justin.tv, with support from fellow streamers Gauge "xAmpz" Brown and Hayden "Nio" Eller, which then formed a trio. The group is one of the earliest recognizable and influential "Call of Duty" teams of the era.

In 2016, NICKMERCS became a founding member one of the most famous names in the gaming community, 100 Thieves, with its founder Matt Haag, a.k.a. NaDeShot. The following year, the influencer moved to California to join his teammates in 100 Thieves' headquarters. This year also led his fondness over the hit shooter game, "Fortnite" particularly its battle royale mode.

2019 to Present Career

With mastery over Fortnite, NICKMERCS gathered a cult-like following that was dubbed as the #MFAM, the letter 'M' for MERCS and 'FAM' for family. In 2019, the content creator faced a contract dispute among the 100 Thieves team, forcing him to leave the group and move back to his hometown, Michigan.

After the move, NICKMERCS attracted the attention of his current group, FaZe Clan, joining their ranks as one of the group's pinnacle streamer. In December 2019, NICKMERCS showcased the new look of his "ultimate gaming studio" that fans and the MFAM were most eager to see.

Last September, NICKMERCS topped the Call of Duty Warzone's most-streamed influencers of Season 5. The Twitch streamer totaled a whopping 40 million watch hours from his four million followers.

Additionally, NICKMERCS is part of the nominated influencers for the 12th Annual Shorty Awards that will draw its winners on November 19.
