OnePlus Co-Founder Who Wanted to Become a Samsung Intern, Leaves Company to Start Own Venture

A particular Carl Pei, who was initially known as the co-founder of the now smartphone giant known as OnePlus during his 20s, has now reportedly left the company according to two familiar sources,TechCrunch reports.

Pei previously played an instrumental role in actually designing the known OnePlus smartphone lineup throughout the years. This included the OnePlus Nord which just recently launched and has been the company's most memorable hit to date.

He wrote in his personal blog that he would be honored to be an intern at the company in order to learn how to successfully manage a business. This was written on his personal blog.

Pei nor OnePlus did not give comments regarding the matter but according to TechCrunch, Pei's next move is a move to start a venture of his own.

According to an article from CNET, the co-founder was also absent from an actual internal memo that listed OnePlus' leadership showing that his not name was included. A screenshot of the memo was uploaded by a Reddit user and reported by Android Police.
