One of the most awaited releases of this year, the Japanese multinational technology company's take on console gaming, PlayStation, recently saw a leak with new and upcoming features of the PS5 that focuses more on players and gamer recognition system. PlayStation France accidentally revealed the information to the public but immediately deleted it.
The division of the Japanese game console in Europe, PlayStation France, accidentally leaked information about Sony's new gaming console, which will now reward players for their track record, achievements, and gameplay among all the games available. Rewards systems rumors are now more evident than previous speculations.
According to Comicbook.com, PlayStation France unintentionally showed the public the new feature of the gaming landscape of the crowd favorite PS5. The so-called 'Trophy Progress' will soon come along the PlayStation 5 according to its French heads.
'Trophy Progress' is a feature that most console gamers of the PlayStation have been asking for from the company. Sony was then pressured by none other than its fans to include the feature; however, not seeing the inclusion on the previous console, the PlayStation 4.

What is Trophy Progress for PS5?
Every game has its own rewards systems, awarding money, fragments, or memorabilia for players to be gratified of their achievements and recognized for their exceptional skill. Developers are keen to include rewards as their games are seemingly 'beaten' or players progressing the titles they designed.
These in-game rewards stay as it is, within the game only. This limits the gamer to reap their rewards or achievements only through the game and its social environment. Gamers have been asking for the PlayStation's 'Trophy Progress' to boast among peers and the online world. Sony was short of providing this, only having the PS4's rewards systems.
The online gaming community is becoming more progressive and interactive as the generation grows. Before, rewards were shared through social media platforms but, as each game have their social world, players want to have the console's system to have its own.
PS5's Trophy System: Soon on November Release
The leak was not speculation from some correspondent or media source. This leak mainly came from PlayStation France, which they immediately removed. PS5's trophy system and rewards have a considerable possibility to soon come together with the PS5's release.
Fans are heavily speculating now, closely anticipating the rewards system that will help them progress further in the game and be rewarded for it. Progress tracking will now be easier with the trophy system and will enable players to show it off on several networks, including Sony's very own.
Alongside the leak, Sony officially rolled-out an update for the PS4's reward system, making players' achievements and trophies more breathtaking and awe-struck.
