If you've seen the loading speed time that Godfall took for the upcoming PlayStation 5, you'll probably be as excited as most people to play the game as well! The upcoming game according to the video shows a pretty interesting and a little big grim fantasy game. For some people, this is exactly what they are looking for!
Godfall, the whole forthcoming fantasy game is said to be a looter-slasher game from both Counterplay Games as well as Gearbox is said to finally be playable in both solo and co-op style! The only thing about Godfall is that in order to play, you'll actually need to be online. Even the official Twitter account of the game confirmed this saying Godfall actually isn't a service game but it indeed requires the use of internet connection in order to play.
Why does Godfall need an internet connection?
According to an article by PC gamer, this could presumably be their way of preventing cheating, so that when the players jump into the game with other players, it's going to be a good thing that they don't just randomly give themselves max stats and all of the best items just like how others did in Diablo 2.
This keeps the character progression as well as loot drops server-side is how they will prevent this from happening. Although Godfall is said not to have its own PVP, what's the harm with doing this?
Here's how to play co-op or solo mode
Sadly, there is no online version to this game and the closest you can do is co-op mode but it still has to be confirmed as to whether this can be done online or strictly through playing together on the same screen. Depending on how the co-op mode will be, the way to play it would be either on online mode or through the the game play options (solo or co-op).
The game is said to launch on November 12 and will be an exclusive to the Epic Games Store along with a few other games. Although both the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X took a really long time to make since the announcements and the backlog that happened due to the coronavirus, their release is finally coming out as soon as next month!
Despite the long wait, both the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X came out with a totally new approach to the whole next-generation console making the wait as some would say, worth it! When the PlayStation 5 finally released their new design, everybody was losing their minds at how different it was from the previous designs.
