The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X have been going at it this year taking the console war to a whole new level with different marketing techniques. This time, it seems like the PlayStation 5 has a good start due to its insanely fast loading speed.
The upcoming next generation console is said to launch some time next month, and it actually seems that there definitely will be a huge difference in how fast it can load. Both the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X are said to take loading times all the way to a point that these consoles have never ever been before.
Check out how fast the PlayStation 5 loads Godfall
This fact has actually been showcased by a few members of the known gaming media that have fortunately gotten their hands on the next generation consoles. A particular video was uploaded showing just how the PS5 was running Godfall. The video was shared on Twitter by a certain @VideoTech_. And it definitely shows the whole game booting up at a massive speed that would've never thought to be possible during the previous console generations.
Sony has been talking quite a lot about the whole PS5's loading time for about the last few months, but it's definitely a different thing when being able to entirely see it in action. It also remains to be seen whether or not the game Godfall's own loading time will be the standard for the PlayStation 5, but this is already a very good omen for those players who already made up their mind and are buying this console. It's also certainly a huge change for those others that have been loyal gamers using the PlayStation ever since the original version came out.
How will the loading speed actually affect sales?
It will definitely be quite interesting to actually see just what impact load times will be having on the console sales throughout this entire generation. The previous console generations have also placed a much larger focus on the graphics, but the whole difference between both the PS5 and PS5 turns out to be less significant.
Games just like Marvel's Spider-Man are definitely getting a noticeable boost from the whole PS5 hardware but it's almost certainly a much smaller jump than that from the PS3 to the PS4. Casual audiences also won't likely see the known huge difference. Loading times, however, are the thing that's much more noticeable and it is also clear that both Microsoft and Sony use that visual in the attempt to "wow" the audience.
