Mark Twain, the founder and lead designer of Arc Vector electric motorcycle, said that reports about the astonishing bike's sudden disappearance were exaggerated. The unique electric bike faced many challenges over the past few years, even before reaching production.
Its range is estimated at 170 miles or 274 km in the city or 120 miles (193 km) on the highway. Back in 2018, it was reported that there are only 355 Arc Vector units that were produced, which lead to its extremely high price.
The design of this expensive bike is very different from other normal bikes. It uses a carbon fiber monocoque design instead of a conventional frame. Its body contains all the electronics, such as motor, controllers, and battery.
Because of this, the bike's design became bulky, making it look like it came from a sci-fi movie. The motorbike's other components consist of a carbon fiber swingarm, custom Ohlins dampers, and Brembo brakes mounted in the rare 6 o'clock position.
