Normally, most sneaker collabs happen for things that have already launched and already have a significant popularity and can be considered a powerful cultural force but it seems like this time, the collab between Adidas and Cyberpunk 2077 was done to hype up the upcoming game that experienced numerous amounts of delays due to the ongoing pandemic.
Oh yeah, it seems like the Adidas collaboration decided to come much earlier than the game launched. Were we supposed to see this? Well, the images were shown by a certain sneaker collector on instagram in an unofficial unveiling of the upcoming Adidas x Cyberpunk 2077.

The images were uploaded by sneaker collector solebyjc who has often gotten the first look on some shoe samples from different brands and not just Adidas. The photos show not just a sneak peak of the Adidas x Cyberpunk 2077 collaboration but the actual whole thing!
According to the images shown, the collaboration with Cyberpunk 2077 will be done on an Adidas X9000L4 Boost, and oh yeah, just in case you couldn't really guess the color scheme, it's obviously showing a huge amount of Cyberpunk branding across the shoe's midsole on each side of the shoe as well as the Cyberpunk graphics located on both the heel and the tongue.
What more authentication do we need to know if it's an actual Adidas x Cyberpunk 2077 collaboration? Well, all you really need to do is check out the tag. You'll see Cyberpunk 2077 over the shoe brand Adidas.

When will the shoes launch and how can you get them?
Although there is no confirmation as of the moment, it is most likely that the shoe will launch either shortly before the game's release, during the game's release, or a little after the game's release. At least now, sneaker collectors know that it is out there!
For those sneaker heads that are both fans of Adidas and fans of Cyberpunk, you'll have to constantly check out Adidas' collaborations in order to see if the shoe is finally out. There is no assurance that the shoe will make it to the stores so you might as well order it online.
The game has been gaining hype ever since its first trailer surfaced showing a familiar Keanu Reeves character at the end. This was also not too long after Keanu Reeves yet again surged in popularity due to the third installation of John Wick.
Projekt Red has been adding powerful personalities to the games production even including the canadian popstar and mother of Elon Musk's child, Grimes to work with them. The list goes on and although the game hasn't even launched yet, it seems like the thought of the Cyberpunk world has already been embedded into the minds of players even before playing it due to the constant advertisement that the game puts out.
