Elon Musk Calls Yahoo Finance 'Dumb' for Limited Research and Attacking Tesla; Twitter Fans Back Him Up

Tesla recently unveiled its 2020 'Battery Day' for the annual shareholders meeting and fans worldwide to get the latest news and innovations from the world-renowned electric vehicle manufacturer, Tesla Motors, headed by Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk. According to fans who watched the episode, the CEO's Twitter post even went as far as calling Yahoo Finance 'dumb' as the news website did limited research about Tesla.

Tesla's Battery Day last September 22, 2020, received mixed reviews and receptions from fans and critics around the world, with some being more disappointed than happy with the announcements. Several people who were expecting much from Tesla and its innovations, which Elon Musk carefreely boasts on social media, were not delivered.

Several products, such as the 'high volume' battery cells, which should be the auto manufacturer's focus on its quest to produce batteries, led to another 'pilot production' line power cells, having significantly lower capacity. This production change will affect the Tesla Roadster, Tesla Cybertruck, and even Tesla Semi's delivery on their supposed launch dates. The 'high volume' batteries will start productions in 2022, according to the CEO.

Due to these shortcomings on Tesla's part, several opinions rise and talk out of the company's favor, which should be expected and anticipated. However, fans are still on Tesla's side and defend the beloved company's name and products that bring the world the forefront in electric vehicle performance.

The Tesla fan named 'Gali' on Twitter (@Gfilche) recently called out Yahoo Finance for allegedly attacking Tesla with limited research and knowledge about the recently concluded Battery Day. Gali even goes as far as calling Yahoo Finance as 'whack' for the opinionated claims against Tesla.

This tweet caught the attention of Tesla CEO Elon Musk, which led him to comment and give his fair share of opinion. Musk called Yahoo Finance 'dumb' saying that its name also sounds dumb. Elon Musk's agreement with Gali proves that the CEO was against what Yahoo Finance regarded his company on its opinionated claims that discussed Tesla and Battery Day.

Apple's Caught Up Too?

Another fan named 'Viv' on Twitter (@flcnhvy) joined the thread and has her opinion on Yahoo Finance's presence in social media. Viv called the news website a 'perpetual machine of negativity & cynicism' on its content and publications.

Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, replied to this tweet with 'Pretty much,' stating his agreement on the Twitter User's opinion.

Battery Day 2020 brought out many revelations for both Tesla and the public, which should be a ground for improvement or knowledge for the automaker. Tesla's future will still see a warm public reception as fans and enthusiasts worldwide express their sincerest support for the clean energy company.
