Li-Meng has previously published a few papers regarding the explanation as to why she believes that the coronavirus was manufactured and not acquired from nature.

In fact, she was even asked in an interview if it could have been possible that the virus mutated through transmission from different species instead of coming from the lab due to her argument that the virus we are experiencing today did not match the how it would naturally look like based on genome structure. She then replied that this was a possibility but stuck to her findings.

According to the paper, the scientists along with Li-Meng Yan have been making huge claims that COVID-19 was manufactured in a lab but a total of six leading experts in the study of evolutionary biology as well as infectious disease gave their two cents about the paper.
According to the experts, the paper actually does not offer any new information and even includes a number of unsubstantiated claims. This was also topped with a statement that the scientific case was actually "weak". Three of the most respected experts gave their public statements.
