Believe it or not, you can't buy the RTX 3080 anymore anywhere because it's already been completely sold out! Now that it's gone, there have been people starting to resell the RTX 3080 especially on Ebay.
Out of all these resells, a certain person bought the known Nvidia Geforce RTX 3080 for a total of $70,000! Yup! $70,000! Who on earth would pay about 9900% of the retail price for just a graphics card!?
If you've woken up this morning and were hoping for a chance to buy yourself an RTX 3080, you've lucked out and you're not alone. Nvidia's Twitter has consistently been getting flooded by certain comments from different users about not being able to receive notification emails about when they can finally buy their own RTX 3080.
People couldn't even click buy?
It was reportedly unlucky for others as soon as they woke up in time to buy the Nvidia Geforce RTX 3080 and immediately clicked the "buy" button, they would only get a pop-up that told them that they had been sold out! Other twitter users even claimed that Nvidia graphics card partners actually did not send the long awaited notification emails to their own customers as well.
It was verified by Gizmodo that the Nvidia Geforce RTX 3080 founders edition has indeed sold out. However, the rest of the available options simply say "check availability," when they actually just take you to another retailer's site in order to check its stock on the other partner manufacturer cards. Gizmodo reported that the very first three clicks redirected them to Newegg as well as Best Buy, which both said that the RTX 3080 was already sold out completely.
The literal line for the 85 Nvidia Geforce RTX 3080s left!
Aside from being unavailable online, there was also a literal long line outside of the main entrance of the Micro Center all the way in Tustin, California where a lot of people were waiting to buy the known RTX 3080 in person. Sadly, it has not yet been confirmed if they had actually been able to get them.
The Tustin Micro Center reportedly only had 85 RTX 3080s within their stock as of the previous 9PM which was already unproportional to the exceeding 100 person line that was waiting outside.
