Tiger Lake CPU Performance: Intel's 11th Gen Processors Run Up to 4.8 GHz Single Core Turbo with Intel Iris Xe Graphics

Intel brings out the big guns by recently announcing their first 11th Generation Tiger Lake processors for their new laptops. The upcoming processors will be featuring the company's Xe graphics, Wi-Fi 6, and also the Thunderbolt support. All of these come with a massive upgrade on battery life in comparison to the previous Ice Lake chips.

Intel also boldly claims that the newer 11th Gen lineup will be offering the "best processors" for the thin and light division laptops. In short, these processors are small but powerful.

Intel is currently launching nine different 11th Gen designs that will be available for both the Y-series (known as the UP4) and U-series class chips (known as the UP3). These all fall in line behind the Core i7 1185G7 which is built to offer a massive base speed of 3.0GHz, and also a maximum single-core turbo boost is reaching all the way up to 4.8GHz.

This comes with a maximum all-core boost leading all the way up to a total of 4.3GHz. This also features the single most powerful version of the known Intel's Iris Xe integrated graphics that come with 96 CUs and also a maximum graphics speed of up to 1.35GHz.
