Google Maps has been widely-used all over the world. So its not surprising that the application is getting interests from social media users. Here's what's happening on Google Maps.
Google Maps strikes another strange object image!
In an exclusive report by Express UK, a strange object is now frightening users in Reddit. It was an image captured from Google Maps. The original post was based on a Redditor that turned out to be the one that found the mysterious building inside the Florida map.
As described in the image, the strange object was located at the center of the Three Mile Island in Florida. This place had been a breeding ground for a nuclear incident that happened first in 1979. The image shows a white building that is sitting at the center of a forest.
The Redditor that posted the picture said that he was intrigued by the building since it was far from anything or anyone in the city saying, "Even if there's a logical explanation for it, why is it so far from anything/anyone?"
Another Redditor supported this claim by stating that there's something weird about the said white building.
"Also, is it just me, or does it look odd as well?" said another user.
If you zoomed in on the image, you will see nothing but trees. This is the reason why most Redditors speculate that the building may contain something inside, or living someone inside.
In 2018, Metro UK also reported a strange object captured in the swamp of Florida. It was also found by a Redditor that caught it using a Google Street View.
Not only people see strange things in Google Maps, there is also an irritating new settings applied on the app.
Why people are complaining with Google Maps?
Though Google Maps is created to solely give directions and routes for drivers, its not helping, according to some users in Google Forum.
They complain that the app has been providing them with faster routes, without giving considerations to where the drivers wanted to go to.
Drivers said that the fastest route of Google Maps are not always the fastest route for their destinations.
"This is one of the most frustrating 'features' I've ever come across. I am presented options of routes before I start driving, I select one and then within a few minutes it's trying to turn me around because it's not as fast as one of the options that I purposefully did not select. To make matters worse it says 'if you want to stay on your current route tap no'. Where I am from It is illegal to touch your phone while driving and where it is legal it is highly dangerous," someone says.
