'Destiny 2' Weapons Guide: Here are the Best Bows You Can Get

Most Destiny 2 players would most likely choose rifles and shotguns for their choice of weapons, but despite not being the most popular choice, there are still players who would rather use a bow, and if you want to try it out for yourself, there are several excellent choices.

Here are some of the best Destiny 2 weapons you can choose, bow edition and where you can get them:

No Turning Back

This weapon is a reward you can get after you've completed the Scorned mission in the Forsaken campaign and is a great choice either for PvE or PvP. It should work well when partnered with a hand cannon or a rifle. However, you should know that it takes up the primary weapon slot, so unless you're extremely comfortable with a bow, you'll want a good secondary weapon too.

Point of the Stag

This bow can only be acquired through the Destiny 2 Iron Banner crucible events. It's a great bow to have as it does extra damage to bosses and guardians who are super active. That is because this is a Vorpal Weapon, and all weapons under this category have the same effect.

Additionally, this bow has access to the Archer's Tempo trait that will decrease the draw time after each precision kill.

Subtle Calamity

You can find this bow quite randomly as a legendary engram. According to Gamepur, this would be a great choice for Destiny 2 Crucible of Gambit. It has numerous perks, including Moving Target, which increases target acquisition and movement speed, making it works well for PvP.

Although it does have some great perks, the draw time is long and can be a disadvantage.

Leviathan's Breath

This specific bow could be acquired through the Make Bows, Not War exotic quest--and it's one of the unique bows you can get in Destiny 2 as it uses heavy ammo, which allows it to do massive damages when you hit an enemy. If you're going against tough bosses, this weapon should help you out.

It also includes the Leviathan's Sight perk that adds some splash damage for near misses and knockback. Unfortunately, it has the longest draw time, which could be a big drawback.

Trinity Ghoul

The Trinity Ghoul could be purchased from Xur, as long as he has it in his inventory. If not, you can try farming exotic engrams and hopefully find one from there.

This is an excellent bow to have, especially for Destiny 2's PvP, PvE, and Gambit, as it can strike large groups of enemies, thanks to its elemental abilities. For example, you can try the Lightning Rod, which would cause a chain-effect of lightning strikes after a precision kill, or you can try the Split Electron, allowing the arrow to split to multiple projectiles.

Hush

Last but not least is Hush, which is deemed as the best bow Destiny 2 has to offer. You must complete the Gambit pinnacle quest to acquire this weapon, but it would be worth it as it combines fast draw time and high damage.

It's also incredibly popular thanks to its Archer's Gambit and Opening Shot perks. The former reduces draw time, even more, when you land a precision hit. Meanwhile, Opening Shot would increase your shot range and accuracy for your first shot when you enter a battle.

Destiny 2 is available on PS4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC.
