There's a new set of Fortnite challenges that players could complete to get bonus rewards, including the Arthur Curry Aquaman skin--provided they have a Battle Pass for season 3.
Fortnite's New Set of Challenges
For those who are unaware, the Battle Pass for this battle royale game is available for 950 V-Bucks, the in-game currency, or around $9.50 if you're to buy it with real-world money, which is rather a reasonable price if you're an avid player.
You can unlock skins, cosmetics, and emotes whenever you complete Battle Pass challenges each week.
Last season, Fortnite devs created additional weekly challenges that players have to complete if they want to get the season's special skin, which is Deadpool.
This time around, Epic Games has added a Jason Momoa-inspired Aquaman skin, and as with the previous season, players would have to complete weekly challenges to acquire it and, according to CNET, if you finish both missions this week, you can unlock the Arthur Curry version of the Aquaman skin.
How to Catch a Weapon at Stack Shack
Without further ado, here are this week's Fortnite Battle Pass challenges:
- Deal 500 damage at the Rickety Rig - 500
- Land at The Authority and finish Top 25 - 1
- Eliminations at Pleasant Park - 3
- Search ammo boxes at Salty Springs - 7
- Search chests - 10
- Search chests (Required 4 Players) - 100
- Catch a weapon at Stack Shack - 1
Most of these challenges are straightforward and can be easily completed by continuously joining Matches, however, many might find the Stack Shack mission a little complicated, especially as the location is unmarked.
With that, here's a guide on how to catch a weapon at Stack Shack.
The Stack Shack can be found on a small island that can be found on A4, the westernmost island on the Fortnite map. If you're already on the location, simply grab a fishing pole and then fish for a weapon, but be cautious of other players trying to complete the mission.
It might also take some time before you can catch a weapon, so you might not succeed on your first try.
Week 6 of Aquaman Challenges
Meanwhile, Fortnite has also added challenges for the Aquaman skin, and those who complete this week's challenges (along with the past five weeks), can finally unlock the Arthur Curry version of the Aquaman skin--something that fans have been looking forward to since the start of the season.
The tasks for this week's Aquaman challenge is pretty simple: players need to head to Gorgeous Gorge and dive from a waterfall to complete the mission.
Of course, you also need to complete the past Aquaman challenges, which are also rather straightforward and easy to accomplish within just a few matches.
For week 1, Fortnite players need to use a whirlpool at the Fortilla location, then they need to ride behind a loot shark at the Sweaty Sands for week 2. For week 3, players have to catch two types of fishes in a single match and then complete a time trial at Dirty Docks for the fourth week.
Week 5 is a little complicated, and you might need a guide as you have to find three tridents at Coral Cove.
After finishing all the Aquaman challenges up to date, you can acquire your new skin.
