Underwater divers have released exclusive images of a German U-boat that capsized off the British coast during the Second World War, the Daily Mail Online posted the feature.
Remarkable images are now stunning enthusiasts and historians worldwide for the efforts it took to capture these pictures which are now living memories from the past. The German U-boat, U-1021 sank off the British coast during WWII.
The boat was said to have served the 31st U-boat Flotilla before it disappeared mysteriously in March 1945. These photographers join other submarines and vessels that have been found. For instance, in February 2017, the vessel U-581 was discovered at almost 3,000 feet near the southern coast of Atlantic Ocean's Pico Island. It is located off the Azores.
In April 2018, Danish research teams uncovered the U-3523 off the coast of Skagen in Denmark, and was located just over 400 feet below sea level. The list continues.
Not every day that you get to see these images of the war from these perspectives. A group of divers captured the remains of the shipwreck via diving contractor Dive Newquay. The vessel is situated nine nautical miles off Cornwall's coast.
'Epic dive'
These stunning images were results of the "epic dive" that the divers found themselves into, and along the way, saw these visuals.
A spokesperson from Dive Newquay stated, "The U1021 lies about nine nautical miles from Newquay Harbour and sits in 55m [180 feet] of water. Dives of this depth are considered technical, which require special planning and different breathing gasses."
For them, it was the best visibility from the wreck, before tagging this as one of their epic dives.
The location of the shipwreck was within a distance of two other U-boats that the Second World War had caused to capsize.

Four divers
Participating in the quest were four divers who took part in the dive that lasted 85 minutes, and 30 minutes of these were spent when divers stayed at the bottom, the spokesperson told media outlets.
There was another wreck found in November 2019, 77 years after vanishing in the Mediterranean region during the second World War. Then, during this year, divers also found one of the last ships from the U.S. Navy that a German submarine sank during this time of the war. It was the patrol boat USS Eagle PE-56, discovered off the coast of Maine.
German U-boats were a popular vessel during WWII, especially since Germany played a major role during the war, with personalities like Adolf Hilter as one of the major characters.
Independent's David Keys wrote in his report, featuring the WWII German U-boats, "The final resting places of six German U-boats sunk in the final months of the Second World War's greatest naval conflict have finally been identified. After years of research, maritime experts say their discoveries will force historians to re-evaluate the battle for control of the Atlantic."
