Mark Zuckerberg Conquers Hawaii with a Ton of Sunscreen and $12,000 Worth Surfboard

Not everyone has been to Hawaii, a luxury destination for many, but apparently, Facebook CEO's Mark Zuckerberg's latest stunt in one of the favorite islands for the season could well be a tourism ad.

Over the previous weekend, Zuckerberg decided to stretch it out for a while and relax in the island. Were there photos of the travel? Yes, but apparently, the netizens are taking it to Twitter to express their hilarious reactions.

When visiting the beach, oftentimes your parents will tell you not to forget putting in too much sunscreen. Well, for Zuckerberg, he is imbibing everything that his family might have raised him.

In the photo released showing the CEO surfing, he seemed to have forgotten to tone down the amount of sunscreen he has on his place. It was white, like a geisha, or even like the Joker.

He was perhaps only making sure that he does not get sunburned.

According to WebMD, sunburn negatively impacts your health and may cause further skin damage due to the intense heat from the sun. At this time, Hawaii is recording a temperature of 29 degrees Celsius, similar to the temperature in Southeast Asia.

Let's take a look at how Twitter reacted over the viral image.

The 36-year-old billionaire, who was recently "accused" of colonizing Kauai, was caught on cam surfing and followed by a boat last Saturday, New York Post reported.

In the photos, he was shown hanging on the Efoil board, reportedly worth $12,000, allowing users to glide easier above the waters.

Twitter netizens are enjoying the viewing of the photos, except for the sunscreen on his face.

For instance, Jim Cunningham wrote, "Mark Zuckerberg surfing looks like a horror movie about a mime who terrorizes a sleepy beachfront community."

According to Heidi Moore, Zuckerberg may just be embodying the monstrosity of the company. She posted on Twitter, "He has literally become the embodiment of the zombie monstrousness of his company."

Stop campaigning, Mark

Zuckerberg and Hawaii are always found in a love-hate relationship. For instance, a native from the island, Mia Brier, once launched a campaign to stop the Facebook CEO from taking photos in the place, even labelling his "greedy" for being able to sue locals who own properties close to his estate there. Zuckerberg's property in Hawaii is reported to have been at $100 million value.

Brier said in the New York Post article, detailing about her change.org petition, "Mark Zuckerberg is the sixth richest man in the world... and he is suing Native Hawaiians in Kauai for their land so he can build a mansion."
