Breaking Records and Creating History
Blackpink is no stranger to breaking records. They are the first K-pop group from South Korea to have performed in the infamous Coachella Festival last year, where they performed in front of thousands of music festival attendees.
More recently, the group has broken another record through the song Sour Candy, which is a collaboration with American pop star Lady Gaga.
According to Forbes, Blackpink and Lady Gaga were able to put the song on the On-Demand Streaming Songs chart, which proved to be quite hard for any South Korean artist, making Blackpink the first-ever girl group to do the feat.
