The United States President Donald Trump often finds himself in "hot water" over his social media posts. On Tuesday, CNN reported that Twitter placed a warning label over one of his tweets due to the "threat of harm" against protesters in Washington, D.C.
While it is not the first time that Trump's tweets are put on the controversy, this particular post went around the news out of abusive tones that seemingly threatened the protesters.
Thus far, the protests that came in after the death of Black-American George Floyd in the hands of Minnesota police are ongoing in the country and have also reached European shores. Some protests have been held in London, United Kingdom, and in Berlin, Germany.
The Trump tweet
Trump seemed to have warned if protesters attempted to set up their "autonomous zone" in Washington, D.C., they will be "met with serious force."
The tweet read, "There will never be an 'Autonomous Zone' in Washington, D.C., as long as I'm your President. If they try, they will be met with serious force!"

According to Twitter's official statement, they placed "public interest notice" on this tweet, seeing that it violated the policy against abusive practices, especially the presence of "threat of harm" against an identifiable group. Twitter is referring to the protesters in D.C.
The president has recently been critical of the protesters' action on establishing autonomy.
D.C. protests
On Tuesday, D.C. police lined the streets around the White House, clearing out the barricades, tents, and other structures the protesters have built, the Washington Post reported. They reportedly want to create autonomous zones in the area weeks after the first wave of demonstrations began against racial injustice.
These comments also were reactions to the chaotic protests this week and on Monday, June 22, during which protesters attempted to topple President Andrew Jackson's statue at Lafayette Square, and cordoned off a street section near the White House, before the actions from the police.
Twitter hides Trump tweet
The company has hidden this tweet from the president but was only the second time the company acted against these tweets. This feature was created last summer. Facebook remains mum as of press time, out of the issue regarding the Trump posts.
Twitter informed chief executive Jack Dorsey of the decision before the notice was published, a spokesman from the social media platform said.
The protesters on Monday declared "Black House Autonomous Zone," and referenced a Seattle area known as the CHOP or Capitol Hill Organized Protest zone, near the presidential office in front of St. John's Church.
Twitter also tagged the message "when the lotting starts, the shooting starts," "violent" against these protesters. The plot thickens. Stay tuned for updates on Tech Times.
