Electronic Arts have unveiled "Star Wars: Squadrons" on Thursday, June 18. Details were revealed about the game: including the PC requirements for running the game and further information on the controls and flight stick compatibility.
It has been revealed in the trailer, according to Game Rant, that the game will concentrate on space fighting and other potential aspects of the game. There were two pilots on the trailer-a Republic pilot and an Imperial ace. The game may also feature a simulation-like player experience. Traditionally, "Star Wars" games have always looked after their players' experience.
Games, games, games.
Classic games such as "X-Wing," "X-Wing Alliance," and "TIE Fighter" offered different levels of that experience. For example, players needed to look after their ships to manage to get them back to base, wherever they are. The trailer also announced that "Star Wars: Squadrons" is a game based on mission 5 vs. 5.
It also revealed the PC requirements and other details of the game. VG Chartz reported non-VR rigs would require at least Windows 10 OS, a Ryzen 3 1300X CPU, Radeon HD 7850 GPU, 8GB Memory, and Intel i5. There are at least two suggested hardware specifications. The only difference being that players would need at least one Radeon RX 480 for non-VR or minimum VR rigs, and a Radeon RX 570 for VR rigs.
A game overview shows how missions begin. There is a briefing for the entire team, where they can choose from the classic starfighters found in the Republic and Imperial fleets. Both the A-Wing and the TIE Bomber were revealed. As for the game, it will feature a single-player story as well as a multiplayer story.
"Star Wars: Squadron" coincides with the resurgence of flight sim popularity. Games such as "Elite: Dangerous" and "Star Citizen" have been shown to again create enough interest in the genre. For fans of "Star Wars," this could be a return to the glory days when players could control starfighters.
Details of EA Play Live
Electronic Arts is preparing to show off a new Star Wars game Thursday with the first look at its latest Star Wars: Squadrons space dogfighting title, expected to launch this fall. The title will also headline the annual summer EA Play fan event for the company, during which the company is usually discussing upcoming games. The next Star Wars game, which was announced on Monday, will be one of the biggest releases of the year.
The event commences at 4:00 p.m. PT / 7:00 p.m. ET / 11:00 p.m. GMT / +1 9:00 a.m. AEST. It will be streamed via EA.com and on the YouTube channel of the company. A live stream will also be available at CNET sister site GameSpot.
This is a transition year for the games industry as Microsoft's new Xbox Series X and Sony's upcoming PlayStation 5 are both expected to release in the fall. That means that not only will many outside game developers create new games, and they will also have to wrestle with new devices to make them playable on.

In some cases, that's offered experimentation opportunities, such as with the groundbreaking adventure game of Assassin's Creed action game by Ubisoft. The game was released in 2007 to positive reviews for Microsoft's then-new Xbox 360. It has since spawned a series spanning hundreds of iterations, novels, comic books, tie-in toys, and a live-action movie.
