[VIRAL] Man Poisons and Films Homeless by Putting '2x Strong' Pepper Spray on Food

A man in California is set to have a 19-year jail time after tricking eight homeless people into eating poisoned food, while videotaping their fatal reaction. Authorities said that the food consists of a substance that was 'twice as strong' as pepper spray.

Man films how he poisoned homeless people

William Robert Cable, a 38-year-old man from northern California of town San Andreas, tried to kill several homeless people, living near the beach, with a very powerful poison, Reuters and BBC reported.

The man allegedly talked to some of the homeless people he has seen at Huntington Beach area in Ma.

Few of the homeless people said that they were offered to be part of a video blog entitled 'spicy food challenge.' To persuade them even more, Cable said that they will be given a bottle of beer after they eat the food.

However, most of them did not know that their food has something dangerous inside it. Since most of them strive for food, these people had no choice but to accept what Cable had given.

Exactly when they were chewing the food, the victims suffered fatal reactions with their body, including seizure-like symptoms, difficulty breathing, and vomiting, as said in the District Attorney's office.

To make it worse, the suspect even allegedly videotaped the said fatal reactions from his victims.

According to the Orange County District Attorney's Office, the food has a substance called Oleoresin capsicum inside it that was 'twice as strong' as a pepper spray, which made its victims almost gag to death.

The authorities also said that Cable was doing this crime out of enjoyment to watch videos of being killed or poisoned.

"These human beings were preyed upon because they are vulnerable," Orange County's district attorney Todd Spitzer said. "They were exploited and poisoned as part of a twisted form of entertainment, and their pain was recorded so that it could be relived by their attacker over and over again."

Luckily, all the victims were now admitted to hospitals. But, authorities said that there might be other victims that they don't know of.

Cable will be charged with eight counts of felony poisoning, one count of elder abuse, and eight misdemeanor counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Not the first time

This case was not the first time that a person tries to poison or put something dangerous on the food of homeless people.

In 2017, the same thing happened with Spanish vlogger Kanghua Ren. This Youtuber tricked a homeless person into eating an Oreo piece, that had toothpaste filling inside it.

Last year, he was given a 15-month jail sentence for 'violating the moral integrity' of his victim.

He also deleted the video of the footage after receiving a huge backlash from the audience.
