More About Sid Meier's Civilization VI
The game came out in 2016, but that doesn't mean it aged poorly, on the contrary, it aged as wine does, better in time. The game is part of the 4x games genre and is also one of the stronger titles in the franchise so far.
The game overhauled several things like the tech and government trees, as well as the ideology systems. The sixth entry has introduced a new Districts mechanic in which all of your buildings occupy one hexagon, which makes you feel that your city is actively growing, and it's up to you to place them in key positions.
Epic Games has given you the base game for free, but a quick disclaimer, the much-loved and highly sought out expansions are not included in which you might have to spend some of your real-world currency to be able to play the game at its fullest. The expansions Rise and Fall and last year's Gathering Storm, are the ones to get, for sure.
This doesn't also include the newly announced season pass called New Frontier, which will feature a whopping eight civilizations, nine leaders, and monthly DLC, which will be coming out over a year, which would set you back for $40, easy.
Instead, given the price tag, it will add more worth and enjoyment to the already massive game that is Civilization VI, so the price for the season pass is nothing short of a steal and will give players more things to do inside the game.
It makes you wonder what the next Epic Games Store has in store for us after Civilization VI is done with the previous titles being as good as they were, for now, let's enjoy the free games courtesy of Epic Games Store. Other companies take note!
