A new leak hints at the Overwatch Anniversary 2020 event and that is kicking off next week on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The Arcade Game modes are set to return, as well as a wide variety of outfits and cosmetics for players to start unlocking according to recent leaks.

New outfits, and event items to look forward to
Aside from all those mentioned above, another thing returning to Overwatch are other event items that are usually locked but are now available to purchase through loot boxes and credits. One huge source of the leak is Overwatch's Anniversary patch notes that have been shared online earlier than expected before the event was even scheduled in the first place.
The patch notes include some information about what kind of new skins are coming--plus some photos that came with it--sporting designs like Masked Man McCree, Fleur de Lis Widowmaker, Carbon Fiber Sigma, Little Red Ashe, Dragoon Mercy, and Masquerade Reaper.

The patch notes also confirm some improvements to the communication wheel which should go live alongside the anniversary event.
According to the PTR description, as told by Express, "We have added many more communication options so you can customize your interactions in Overwatch. To help you pick your favorites, go to Options -> Controls and scroll down to the Communication Wheel section. From here, you can choose from one of 26 different options for each sector of the wheel. You can change out your choices and swap around their positions within the wheel. Now, you can still tell your team "I Need Healing," but you can also tell them you are "On My Way" so they should "Press the Attack!"
It also reads that new options will be available so players will be able to customize the communications wheel along with shortcuts and additional keybindings to support lots of voiceover lines. Looking back at last year's event, it kicked off on May 21 and ended around June, which means that this year's celebration is definitely launching earlier than usual.
Lastly, the PTR states, as reported by Express, "Along with a slew of new skins, highlight intros, emotes, and sprays, Anniversary Loot Boxes have a chance to contain items from past Anniversary and seasonal events. Each purchase of the 50 Anniversary Loot Boxes bundle also includes a bonus Legendary Anniversary Loot Box containing at least one legendary item. In addition to earning Anniversary Loot Boxes by playing or purchasing them in the shop, unlock one Legendary Anniversary Loot Box just for logging in. Don't wait too long: Anniversary Loot Boxes will vanish when the event ends on June 10."
