This week, J.K. Rowling shared on her social media account that her body started showing symptoms similar to those acquired from the Coronavirus. After realizing that she may have the virus, her husband's doctor advised her to watch a specific breathing video from Queens Hospital. She followed the breathing technique for the next few weeks.

Today, her social media has been flooded with congratulatory remarks after she claimed that her body has already fully recovered from the symptoms. Rowling said that the breathing technique helped her to build healthier lungs that usually targeted by the virus.

Rowling reiterated that she was not tested for the Coronavirus despite showing related symptoms. However, she claims that she has "fully recovered" from them with the help of the breathing technique.

How to do proper breathing vs. Coronavirus?

The video features Sarfaraz Munshi, a doctor at Queen's Hospital in Essex, UK. In it, which currently has over 800,000 views, Munshi demonstrates how to properly breathe to have healthy and strong lungs that may resist the Coronavirus.

As explained in the video, the proper way of breathing exercise is to take six deep breathing and hold it for five seconds each. Once you get to the sixth, you need to end your breathing exercise with a loud cough. Repeat this process for the second time using a pillow.

"While you have an active infection, you need to be getting a good amount of air into the bases of your lungs. The only way you are going to do that is by having a technique," explained Munshi. "I want you guys to start doing this if you have the infection right from the beginning if you want to do it before you even pick up the infection, good idea."
