Nintendo Switch and Animal Crossing: New Horizons fans in the United Kingdom can now rejoice as Nintendo Switch Lite bundles are back on the shelves with the Animal Crossing: New Horizons game or a few other titles available.
Nintendo Switch Lite Deals are Back
According to TechRadar, those who want to get some Switch Lite deals could choose pastel-colored consoles for the same price as before as they haven't been affected by recent price hikes.
That means Switch fans can still get theirs for £199 or around $244 in the U.S.
Stocks are dwindling due to the coronavirus pandemic, as parts coming from China are affected by the health crisis, especially when they are among the top countries with the most cases, as Bloomberg previously reported.
Nevertheless, the demand for Switch is higher than ever, as the console is sold out everywhere amid the pandemic.
Besides the console, Animal Crossing: New Horizons is also highly successful with its launch, especially in Japan.
Therefore, the return of Nintendo Switch Lite bundles in the U.K. shelves is highly welcomed--more so since the price hasn't changed despite the decrease in supply and the increase in the demand.
Additionally, other Switch Lite bundles are offering some discounts with top games included.
More Games with Bundles
Besides Animal Crossing: New Horizons, fans can pick up a Switch Lite with Mario Kart 8, Luigi's Mansion 3, and Pokemon Sword.
These bundle deals are currently available in Very.
Meanwhile, it seems like supplies are still low in the United States, but some deals are still available at Amazon that fans could get.
Nintendo Switch and the New-Gen Consoles
In relevant news, it seems like the future is bright for Nintendo Switch despite the looming arrival of next-gen consoles, Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.
According to one developer, the Nintendo Switch might still be home to ports of games from these new consoles that boast incredible graphical capability.
Developer Virtuos has made it clear that they believe games that will be made for both PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X will also land on Nintendo Switch--and they should know since they are behind well-known ports to the Switch, including Dark Souls Remastered, L.A. Noire, and The Outer Worlds, which will be coming soon to the humble console.
"With the launch of the new Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 this year, developers need to strategize and plan for the game experience to be consistent across all platforms. At Virtuos, we are charged up and full of talent that is ready to help bring these new games to the Nintendo Switch," Elijah Freeman, vice president of Virtuos, said in an interview with Maxi Geek.
This might come as a surprise, especially when the Nintendo Switch is already deemed underpowered when compared with the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4, let alone the upcoming new-gen consoles.
Nevertheless, Switch is already home to some of the most surprising ports, so it could really be possible to see Xbox Series X and PS5 games on the Nintendo Switch in the future.
For now, all we can do is wait and see for ourselves.
