GTA 6 first possible character unlocked: Who is 'The Mexican'?
The issue of GTA 6 being currently produced was already debunked by the developers themselves, saying it is not true, and people should stop creating false hope. Unfortunately, fans of the famous video game series will not stop on speculating.
On Saturday, Mar. 28, a voice actor from Miami named Jorge Consejo was flooded with different messages about GTA 6. This is after his so-called 'resume portfolio' just went viral after fans of the game found his past work listings with a Grand Theft Auto 6 name on it.
According to his resume, Grand Theft Auto VI under CGI animation was one of his past works in 2018. Though he's not the main lead on the series, he was said to be featured on the game with a character called 'The Mexican.' Of course, the character was under the works of Rockstar Games which GTA's main developer company.
GTA 6 voice actor won't deny nor confirm rumours
Since Consejo was already flooded with direct messages on his personal Twitter account, he already tweeted his response to all rumours. The voice actor clarified that although he wants to answer all messages, he is under 'contract stipulations' with his' certain projects.' Due to this, Consejo cannot speak nor deny the project of GTA VI.
GTA VI rumours and clarifications from developers
GTA V--which is the current GTA series-- is now more than seven years old since its first release. This is the reason why people are now looking forward to another series from the game. And 2020 might be the perfect date for the developers to release the next GTA. However, Take-Two already clashed this perspective.
"We haven't always been able to achieve our goal of having a strong frontline release schedule in every year, even in the recent past," Take-Two CEO, Strauss H. Zelnick, explained during the call. "Given that we're a company that depends on our creative teams to make as close to perfect products as possible, we have to be willing to live with the vagaries of product deliveries. And that means, sometimes, we will have thin frontline years. But even in those frontline years, we've been able to deliver really great financial results."
As of now, we only have rumours and unverified leaks so we might have to wait for a while for GTA VI-- if there ever was.
