Coronavirus epicenter in Wuhan, China, has now officially announced the third day of no new positive domestic case of COVID-19. Due to this successful milestone, the city has now loosened its restrictions and removal of several checkpoints in the district. As a sign of their gratitude to all hardworking frontliners and the city's road towards being Coronavirus-free, one district from Wuhan celebrated with beautiful fireworks.

As reported via the South China Morning Post, Wuhan residents are now starting to slowly come back to their normal lives after the horrifying spread of Coronavirus in the city. Most workers start to prepare for coming back to their offices, while medical workers that were positioned at frontliners to help Wuhan now left the city.
In a viral video shared by SCMP and posted by Dahe Daily on Saturday, one district from Wuhan called Xinzhou celebrated this huge milestone by firing dozens of fireworks that were seen in the nearby neighborhood. The district is just one of the places wherein the police and medical checkpoints were already removed.
The command center from the government issued the removal of the checkpoints starting from Friday, Mar. 20 on selected districts. This is due to the reason that the government has no longer found another positive domestic case from the city started on Thursday, Mar. 19. The third day of having no new positive Wuhan case made the citizens cheered the development.
While others are happy, other Wuhan residents are still afraid to go out
Though the government of China now decides to apply loose restrictions in the epicenter, several Wuhan citizens are still afraid to go out of their homes and possibly catch the disease.
One of the Wuhan residents named Wen Ji even doubted the released numbers of the government by accusing that they might be hiding the real numbers of the positive COVID-19 patients.
"I don't believe this number - I think it's safer to keep staying at home," she said. "We know we're healthy, they know we're healthy ... but no one is brave enough to let us leave."
Meanwhile, National Health Commission spokesman Mi Feng advised all residents of Wuhan that this positive news must continue for months and avoid imports to contain their status.
"We have to strictly stop imported cases, step up epidemic control and avoid any rebound," he said.
Coronavirus impact on Wuhan
The virus has impacted more than 250,000 people around the world and kills more than 11,000 people-- most numbers came from Wuhan.
World Health Organization or WHO states that the development in Wuhan just proved that there is still hope for countries to be healed with this virus.
"Wuhan provides hope for the rest of the world that even the most severe situation can be turned around," said Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO chief.
