The North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un has decided to hastily construct a "modern general hospital," which would serve to "better protect the precious health and safety of our people." Now, people on social media are speculating that North Korea is hiding the coronavirus numbers within their country as the former Central Intelligence Agency analyst questioned the claims of the leader.
The State's media has reported that Kim just recently broke ground at the location of the hospital construction site over at Pyongyang this Tuesday, Mar. 17, while they still insist that there are no cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) despite being in between the two virus hotspots of China and South Korea. According to a former CIA analyst, it would be impossible for North Korea not to be affected.
North Korea released an official statement regarding the matter
According to Rodong Sinmun, the official newspaper of North Korea, "Our Party analyzed and assessed the present state of public health service, medical service, in the country... and, feeling miserably self-critical of the fact that there is no perfect and modern medical service establishment" which continued by explaining that they have "discussed and decided on building in this year of the 75th anniversary of its founding a modern general hospital first in Pyongyang for the promotion of people's health,"
North Korea's leader expresses urgency
According to Un, the hospital's construction should be labeled as a "crucial task" and is to be finished in early October. He then added that "When the general hospital is built, we will get another valuable asset with which better to protect the precious health and safety of our people,"

Following his statement, he explained that there will be a springboard set up for consolidating and developing the different socialist public health systems that should run by enabling the public health sector to modify and make different leaps forward with the hospital as a central base.
North Korea continues to deny infection
Pyongyang has been claiming that they were able to shield themselves from the coronavirus with means of being proactive in their fight for "national survival." This statement was given with the most confidence reiterating the claim that they are free from coronavirus infections.
North Korea has already taken drastic precautionary measures
North Korea has already made moves by closing its borders as cutting trades with China that are topped off by extending the quarantine period to 30 days. The quarantine period even includes restrictions on activities of the foreign diplomatic as well as the international staff which are based in North Korea
A former CIA analyst gives his statement
A former CIA analyst on North Korea by the name of Jung H. Pak has just told Fox News that "It's impossible for North Korea not to have a single case of coronavirus," and although there are no backing evidence to support his claim, his opinion was already being shared around by others on Social Media even before making a statement.
