The coronavirus (COVID-19) is spreading faster than anyone expected and has started to infect people without discretion which goes to show just how aggressive this virus is. Just recently, the virus has made its way into sports and has infected one of the most popular NBA stars, Kevin Durant along with four different players from the Brooklyn Nets!
Kevin Durant handles situation with ease
Kevin Durant himself told Athletic that he took the test to determine whether or not the covid-19 has made its way into him and lo and behold, the results came back positive. The NBA star expressed deep concern not just for himself but also for other victims of the virus around the world and not just in the US.
In a direct quote from Durant, "Everyone be careful, take care of yourself and quarantine. We're going to get through this," right after telling everyone that he was feeling OK despite being positive of the coronavirus.
Durant will not be giving further comments about the situation
Durant's representative recently told BuzzFeed that there will be no more updates from Durant regarding the virus at this current time. The sensitive matter did not get any follow-up statements from Durant including critical details of how he could have gotten the virus and etc.

There are three other Brooklyn Nets which tested positive for the virus
Kevin Durant was not the only person inside the Brooklyn Nets alone which tested positive for the virus as there were reportedly three other players which were positive of covid-19. Durant is a former MVP and has even been one of the most popular and talented players in basketball but despite his standing, Durant was still not exempted from the deadly virus.
The tests came from an unnamed private company
ESPN has just recently reported that the Nets tested players got their testing kits from an unnamed private company. The information as to what types of kits the players used is also not available to public in the meantime.
NBA has suspended the whole season
NBA fans will have to find something better to do especially since the whole NBA season will be suspended after Utah Jazz All-Star Rudy Gobert has just tested positive for the virus. Another All-Star teammate of Gobert's by the name of Donovan Mitchell tested positive as well shortly after.

Another All-Star victim to the coronavirus is Detroit Piston's very own Christian Wood which just goes to show that the NBA's decision of suspending the season was based on the rapid increase of infected players in just a matter of time. Currently, the final number of infected in the NBA is still unclear.
Durant has not even been active this season
After rupturing his own Achilles, Duran had to step outside of the ring and refrain from playing basketball this season as his Achilles tendon was ruptured during last year's NBA finals playing against the one and only Golden State Warriors.
