The contestants of the German version of one of the most popular reality TV show "Big Brother" still have no clue about what is happening around the world being locked away and had no update of outside surroundings! According to BBC, the coronavirus (COVID-19) has already claimed the lives of about 17 people and has infected 7,500 people in their country.
Will the contestants ever know?
The 14 housemates will be given the news shortly to speed them up to date with what is going on with the world. Nobody knows how the reaction of the housemates would be like, and that makes the episode interesting to be viewed by the masses at home while people are practicing social distancing.
Since when were the housemates unaware of the situation?
Although the COVID-19 was already present when most of them entered the house/set last Feb. 6, the virus was not yet treated as a pandemic and was not even heard of by the majority of people around the globe, especially since it was still limited to mainland China.
