Leaked Specs
Alongside the online leak of images and the first glimpse of the Powerbeats4, WinFuture also leaked several interesting things about the specs of the device. For the battery life, the headphones will pack a 15-hour long lifespan after a full charge. That is a 3-hour addition and a significant improvement from its predecessor, the Powerbeats3.
WinFuture's leak also added that users may use the device even if the charging time is relatively lacking. According to the leak source, users can use the Powerbeats4 for 60 minutes for a 5-minute charge.
The insides of the device will get some upgrade as it will use the H1 wireless chip, which is also being used by the Powerbeats Pro. This enables the upcoming Powerbeats4 to use voice commands to activate Siri. By simply saying "Hey Siri" the user can unlock and use so many things.
The headphones will also be offered to have a Lightning-enabled charging, which is the very first one when it comes to the Powerbeats series.
Leaked Design
The design is also reported to go in the spectrum of a sleeker and a more minimal approach. 9to5mac says that this will allow users to have more comfort while using the product.
Variants of the Powerbeats4 have also been leaked and is said to be available in different colors. This includes white, black, and red. Despite leaking when it comes to the variant colors, no clue has still surfaced about its price.

The product includes the Beats design which according to some sources is going to be used as an all-in-one headphone controller. The Beats logo can be used for playback controls such as playing, pausing, and even skipping over to the next track. This feature can be directly compared to the playback controller of the AirPods.
Early Device Speculations
The Verge initially speculated in January that the successor for the Powerbeats3 will soon arrive. This is due to the appearance of the icon of the Powerbeats 4 in Apple's operating system. This speculation was then confirmed thanks to a listing over the FCC.
This listing also accompanied several image leaks which proves a lot of things which include the iteration of the whole device. The most obvious change would be the earphone cable shaped like a hook.
Despite every leaks and image that the internet has seen, Apple is still silent about the Powerbeats3 successor. 9to5mac predicts that the device's announce is near, and will happen within days, which will probably come together with the newest iPhone OS version update.
The Verge, on the other hand, insists that the reveal would be the same as the Powerbeats3 and will happen around this month. They are however uncertain about this prediction as schedules may change, events may get postponed, and some will be canceled because of the COVID-19 outbreak. Apple even implemented and is firmly encouraging its employees to have their works at home.
