Have you heard about the myth that 5G Technology is the main source of Coronavirus COVID-19 in the world? 5G tech is NOT the source of COVID-19 and reasons why you should believe this

Is using 5G smartphone safe nowadays despite the issue that it can spread Coronavirus? Yup, it is totally safe, and experts have already debunked this worldwide myth.

Last month, reports of 5G tech bringing Coronavirus to people by 'sucking their human oxygen' went trending even until today. Most of the reports were based on Facebook and Twitter posts by random people that claim that through purchasing and using 5G-partnered smartphones, people will get the virus instantly.

According to some reports, Wuhan, China-- where the virus originated-- was just one place in China that has an exposure of 5G tech as China pushes for 5G world in all smartphone users in the country. This assumption became one of the reasons why some people believed this myth for quite some time.

A post in a Facebook group called 'Stop 5G UK' said that 5G tech weakens the immune system of a person, and Wuhan people tend to be the first ones that experienced this viral disease as they are the ones that got the first access to 5G.

"What if all we are seeing in Wuhan is sickness from exposure to excessive 5G radiation, and weakened immune systems?," said Facebook post by an unknown person.

Another strange claim was also mentioned by a woman in a Twitter video saying that people suddenly 'falling over' in Wuhan due to dry coughs and pneumonia resulted in their wide usage of 5G.

The unidentified 'doctor' in the viral video also said that "5G absorbs oxygen, and that's really important to know. On your oxygen molecules, the little electrons, with 5G they start to oscillate. So 5G is absorbing the oxygen, and then your hemoglobin can't take up the oxygen."

Though it is true that Wuhan was one of the first places that got access to 5G tech, Health Agency in England already explained that there are only small chances that 5G tech gives any harm to the public.

"It is possible that there may be a small increase in overall exposure to radio waves when 5G is added to an existing network or in a new area. However, the overall exposure is expected to remain low relative to guidelines and, as such, there should be no consequences for public health," said Public Health England.

South China Morning Post also reported recently that Chinese President Xi Jinping is now speeding up the construction of "new infrastructures such as 5G networks and data centres" in the country in order for their economy to bounce back to its highest rate since COVID-19 resulted to damage on their economic state.

"[We] must quicken the pace of building an economic and social order in line with epidemic control ... try to bring the national economy and society back to normal as soon as possible and create the conditions to accomplish the goals of building a comprehensive well-off society and reducing poverty," said Xi.
