Hollywood actress Vanessa Marquez who was killed back in 2018 after being shot dead by two police officers inside her South Pasadena home, now has its final verdict from the court. Los Angeles County prosecutors decided to let go of the two police officers and found them not guilty for murdering the actress.

If you had watched E.R.-- one of the hottest medical series of the year 2000s, you might know the actress that played one of their nurses character Wendy Goldman-- played by the 49-year old Hollywood actress Vanessa Marquez.

The actress, however, went to a depression stage a few years ago, which was shown in her social media accounts wherein she posted different comments expressing 'suicidal tendencies' and 'mental problems.'

Back in 2018, Marquez reportedly died after being shot dead by two police officers that went inside her home to check up on her status. Now, Los Angeles Times reported that the court verdict against the two South Pasadena Officers named Gilberto Carrillo and Christopher Perez resulted in not guilty final verdict-- making the two officers unaccountable to any charges filed against them.

L.A. County via Daily Mail U.K. also released the body cam video from one of the officers, which shows the real story behind the shootout against the actress.

According to the report, the two police officers that went inside her home received a disturbing call from Marquez's landlord and said that police must check on her.

Based on the video released, it was seen that the house of Marquez was said to be in a cluttered 'hoarding conditions.' This was also compared to her last statement when she guested for a reality show 'Intervention.' She stated there that she suffers from obsessive shopping habits, which resulted in her financial problems.

The police officers, then, called out Vanessa from her room, where she was found lying on her bed with all her stuff. They informed the actress that 'everyone is concerned' for her condition. The officers even contacted a mental health officer to talk to Vanessa for 30 mins.

All things seemed to be right in place right before the officers said that they need to evacuate and invite Vanessa to the police officer. The actress resisted the command of the officers and said that she did not want to go with them.

Within this period, the actress went to check on her bag and found scissors and a fake, made-up gun. By then, police officers were alarmed. Vanessa said on the video that she wanted to be killed and pointed the gun on their direction, which forced the officers to shoot the actress with 12 rounds of gunshots.

"In this incident, the evidence demonstrates that Carrillo and Perez actually and reasonably believed Marquez posed an imminent threat of great bodily injury or death," Shannon Presby, head deputy district attorney, wrote in the memo. "Her intention, as evidenced by her final Facebook post, sadly appears to have been to end her life."
