SPRING BREAK CANCELED!? Miami Calls Coronavirus or Covid-19 "Hurricane Threat" As Unusual Cases of Delayed Symptoms Emerge

Global panic has been spreading ever since the coronavirus or Covid-19 has taken its first few steps out of China and has finally reached the borders of the United States and other countries. There have been unusual cases detected wherein the infected only show symptoms a month after-- could mean that our 14-day quarantine is now obsolete! Spring Break is at a critical situation right now and although it is pushing through, there could still be a chance that this event would be canceled if ever something more drastic should happen.

There had been confirmed cases in the United States. Currently, there are certain precautionary measures being executed to ensure the safety of the general public. There have already been many events canceled even in Miami, Florida itself, and the famous Spring Break, which has not skipped a year since anyone can remember might have to skip this year.

Unusual case of infection

Just recently, a certain man was only showing signs of the infection 27 days after he was infected! This has shown that the virus may be evolving yet again, and the symptoms of infection may even be prolonged. Other unusual encounters of this virus include how recovered patients of this virus start to show signs of infection once again, even after being declared clear. This just shows how much the virus has mutated and how it should be treated, with extensive care and sensitivity.

Other events have already been canceled

According to Florida, the coronavirus or Covid-19 has to be treated just like a "hurricane threat," especially since they will be expecting an influx of Spring Break visitors this month to party in the most popular party of the month. As of now, officials will be met to make sure that safety measures are being strictly upheld and the final decision as to whether or not the Spring Break festival would be canceled.

There have been additional training and requirements for organizers to uphold during Spring Break, but this is still a very touchy matter because if there is another unusual event that should surface, there may not be a Spring Break after all. Sadly, parties can be a bit risky, especially now with the risk of a coronavirus or Covid-19 infection.

The coronavirus or Covid-19 has even affected the academic sector

Aside from Spring Break, there have also been other programs that have been affected by this virus, Florida schools have even decided to cancel its very own study abroad program which was a popular program and one of the things that made their schools stand out. There has always been a study abroad program that allows students to take a life-changing experience and travel outside of the country to experience the culture and academic practices of other countries.

Aside from Asia, schools in Italy have canceled their programs as well

Italy has also been experiencing problems with the coronavirus or Covid-19. The number of infected citizens has increased. With that, the country ordered its academe to remove the study abroad program for their schools in hopes to save their students from the feared coronavirus or Covid-19.
