As new cases of coronavirus increase in every part of the world, Apple Chief Executive Officer claims that China is likely getting the outbreak under control.

Apple CEO Tim Cook, in an interview posted on Fox Business, addressed the outbreak of coronavirus - officially referred to as Covid-19 - and the way it has affected Apple's business for the year.

Apple "carefully" watches the coronavirus outbreak

Apple is carefully watching simply how the coronavirus outbreak is unraveling in South Korea and Italy, where the corporation has distributors, CEO Tim Cook said. Apple counts biggest Korean screen manufacturers Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics; amongst its distributors. The tech giant also supplies chips from a manufacturing facility in Italy run via Franco-Italian chipmaker STMicroelectronics, according to its latest vendor listing.

Cook told Fox Business Networks that Apple had re-opened 80 percent of its shops in China. He moreover claimed that iPhone production centers in China had genuinely reactivated and also were in "phase 3 of the ramp mode."

"It will take some time, but I think that [coronavirus outbreak] is a temporary condition, not a long-term sort of thing," Cook claimed.

Asked if Apple would genuinely relocate its production from China to Vietnam or Cambodia, Cook claimed the company serves its supply chain worldwide. The organization, according to Cook, thought about price adjustments in the market and additional skills enhancement as a setback. He additionally claimed Apple's supply chain supervisors had been checking out just how data against the coronavirus surprise the corporation's supply chains were.

"And so the question for us after we get on the other side will be, was the resilience there or not and do we need to make some changes," he claimed.

WHO agrees to Cook's claim over coronavirus containment, but there's a catch

The World Health Office (WHO) said it China's containment measures had been effective as the number of latest cases continued to fall. However, the health agency warned of the risk of outbreaks coming back to life.

The alerts were released on Friday as WHO declares the risk of the global spread of the coronavirus epidemic had become "very high."

Epidemiologists were also convinced that the lethal virus was caused by animals. Bats regarded to be the reservoir of the virus, but the intermediate host had not yet been identified.

Without figuring out that animal chain, there was a chance that outbreaks should recur in regions where they'd receded, the UN health agency warned.

The health agencies underscored that the prevention measure is to hold a safe distance from other people, and minimizing near contact in public places. However, the chance of getting the virus has increased as work resumed, and movement restrictions were lifted.

More nations have started implementing preventive measures such as factory closures and the cancellation of public gatherings. South Korea urged residents to live indoors on Saturday after the variety of confirmed instances rose rapidly.
