Outrage towards Google! Google Nest Camera Services Crashes and Responses are Unsatisfactory

Google has had a bumpy start of the year once again as the recent Google drive crash for windows 10 has caused a lot of users to complain about how this affected their work, projects, and even school presentations! Recently, another outrage is starting to break as Google's Nest Camera services stopped working, which halted all forms of video streams down. This outrage once again is directed to Google and clearly shows how Google should improve their systems to avoid these types of nuisances.

Response from the Nest team is unsatisfying

With building complaints and outrage spreading, the only thing that the Nest Team is doing right now is trying to assure users that they are aware of the problem and are already "working on a fix." This response could have been better if the Nest team or Google itself provided technical and specific responses towards this problem to assure users that they are in good hands. Sadly, a generic answer does not put users to ease, and the outrage still continues.

Google Nest's video history is also inaccessible

According to users, even Google Nest's video history is also inaccessible, which means that they are officially blind and incapable of accessing any previous videos which are supposedly stored in Google Nest. This could be a big problem for business owners who are not on-site and have to monitor everything in real-time. The problem with Google nest is not the lack of convenience but instead, the lack of total visibility.

When Google Nest finally revealed the true problem, users felt dismay

According to Google Nest team, the problem which users are experiencing stems from them having to switch loading from both web and mobile, which is quite unacceptable for most users since this is the very convenience that was promised to them when introduced to the Google Nest in the first place. Both the Nest Cam and the Nest Cam IQ are down, which is quite a turn-off for their services since these two services are the main services provided by Google Nest. The transition between web and mobile services are quite complicated, and for any industry to pull this off, this should be a fact celebrated.

Nest Hello Doorbell and Nest Hub Max smart display are down as well, which just goes to show that the major services are all down. Google does not waste time fixing certain problems. What really caused the outrage was the fact that the crash should not have happened in the first place, especially since the Google Nest is a surveillance system, which means that visibility should be available 100% of the time.

How long should users expect the repairs to be?

Google has not yet given a final statement as to how long users will have to wait until Google Nest services are back up and running, but to know Google's history when it comes to fixing problems, the fixing it should not take too long.
