Are you seeing what most people see on the above image? Fortnite posted this picture on their Twitter account with a caption "Transmission Intercepted" with the tagline "Origin= Au" or the periodic element for gold. Most Twitter users mentioned that the picture forms a lot like Marvel's villain character, 'Thanos.'

Though it is just a speculation and it is hard to imagine Thanos in Fortnite, there are a lot of possibilities now that Fortnite will soon launch its Season 2 Chapter 2 with a lot of exciting golden elements. Here are some of the info you've already probably heard from the new season.

Fortnite Season 2 Chapter 2: Oro?

'Oro' is a very matched name for this new season, as this means 'gold' in the Spanish language. Aside from this leaked character, tons of 'gold-colored' handprints were also seen to be circulating around Fortnite characters. Reports said that the handprint is in connection with the famous Greek myth character of 'King Midas.'

Who is King Midas?

King Midas or the word 'Midas' was said to be spelled out from the various posts of Fortnite for Season 2-- wherein the speculations were born.

For people that do not have any idea about who King Midas was. King Midas was the king of Phrygia on Greek mythology. Midas is known to have the ability to turn anything to gold as long as he touches it. At first, Midas enjoyed his power, but he suddenly regrets having it when he tried to eat his next meal. His meal immediately turned into gold-- forcing him to renounce the gift that was given by God Dionysus and washed it to Pactolus river.

Fortnite Season 2 Chapter 2 release date

For now, all of these are only speculations and rumors. Luckily, players will no longer wait for too long as Fortnite is hours away from answering all the questions surrounding the new chapter of Fortnite. Guess we'll just have to wait and see how King Midas and the word 'Oro' may affect your gaming soon.
