The release of the "Laureus Sport for Good" is in time to the presentation of the Laureus World Sports Awards held Tuesday in Berlin. The item is the 14th Laureus limited version watch from IWC and the primary Portugieser with a mono-pusher chronograph. The wristwatch is limited to 500 pieces.

Limited edition watch to support Olympics training for kids, adults with disabilities

This Laureus-supported challenge offers training in Olympic sports activities disciplines for kids and adults with disabilities.

Laureus is a global corporation that celebrates sports excellence and makes use of the power of sports to convert the lives of children and young people. The company was established in 2000 by Richemont and Daimler, who keep supporting all aspects of Laureus via their manufacturers Mercedes-Benz and IWC Schaffhausen. They were joined as Global Partners in 2018 by using MUFG, formerly referred to as Mitsubishi Tokyo Bank.

The first Patron of Laureus changed into Nelson Mandela. At the inaugural Laureus World Sports Awards in 2000, he made his speech about sports having the electricity to alternate the world. Mandela's imaginative and prescient has become the philosophy of Laureus and the driving pressure in the back of its work.

All Laureus' signature design in one watch

The 46-millimeter stainless steel case houses the function of Laureus blue dial and rhodium-plated hands. The small seconds' dial is at 6 o'clock and the power reserve display at 9 o'clock. The watch is finished with a black alligator leather-based strap via Santoni, an Italian manufacturer that focuses on hand-made leather shoes.

The watch is powered by the 59360 calibers mechanical motion with an eight-day power reserve. The mono-pusher chronograph may start, stop, and reset with a single pushbutton integrated into the crown. The recorded time is displayed at the subdial at 12 o'clock.

The lower back of the watch is engraved with the winning layout from the yearly IWC drawing opposition for individuals of Laureus projects. This year, the jury selected a drawing by 15-year-old Yi Xin from China as the triumphing access with a transferring portrayal of friendship. Yi is a player in the "Special Olympics China" program.

The photograph depicts nine outstretched fingers as if they're geared up to embrace. The palm of each hand has a heart-formed outline. The "Laureus Sport for Good" name and numbered edition is engraved at the case back of the watch.

You can pick the watch up in three classy colors: white, charcoal gray, or Sunburst blue. The nautical-inspired style complements the hands, and at this point, it makes complete sense to appreciate gray dial with the gold hands and numerals on it. Pricing is around $16,600.
