Do you know the koopalings? They were also known as Koopa kids - they are Iggy, Larry, Lemmy, Ludwig, Morton, Roy, and Wendy (or Hip, Hop, Big Mouth, Cheatsy, Kootie Pie, Bully, and Kooky Von Koopa from the Animated Serries). In Mario Kart Tour one of the challenges is to score 6000 or more while equipping a Koopaling driver.
These are the Koopakids
Mario Kart Tour is the 14th release in the franchise and is a kart racing mobile game. It was developed and published for iOS and Android devices by Nintendo and was announced back in January 2018 and released to the public on September 25, 2019, and Google Play and Apple App Store. For the current tour, this takes us to Tokyo and huge in-game prizes await. This game also received a badly needed update recently, which is the multiplayer option. You can also opt to go for a Gold pass if you get a premium.
Today we will talk about one of the challenges in the Tokyo Tour, which can be easy or difficult depending on your Gatcha luck. In this game, you will need to score at least 6000 points using a Koopaling driver. This is not the difficult part of it, but the challenging part here is actually obtaining or "rolling" these drivers.
There is a way to maximize your odds in the gatcha. For the uninitiated, Mario Kart tour is a gatcha game - meaning you need to spend some real-life money to buy the premium currency in the game, which you can use to try to pull for in game goodies such as drivers. In this case, "Rubies." It is much like Pokemon Masters or Dragon Ball Legends. You can also earn an amount of Rubies from challenges.
Tips:
1) 10 pulls gives you more bang for your buck than single pulls. 10 pulls cost 45 rubies while a single costs five.
2) Look at the rates for each banner before you pull. In some cases, you need to reset your pipes and reset the pull rates if you are trying to summon a specific item.
3) You can consider re rolling your account or resetting your game - this is pretty much the unwritten law of any Gatcha game; if you started your account and you did not get anything good on the free rolls for beginners, just restart the game and try to get the featured items in the banner. This is especially true for limited time banners! Re rolling will be really worth it.
Pulling pretty much looks like this. You can watch this video from Youtube for more tips on pulling good items and drivers.
Now how about actually getting 6000 points? For this, you should activate Frenzy and use a high-powered kart. It's quite easy to get once you get lucky and actually got a Koopaling from the Gatcha. Currently, the easiest course to get 7000 plus points is in the Toadette Cup 3DS Toad Circuit T. It's quite easy to make a huge combo in this level, which will get you a lot of points. You can even use this course in other point-related challenges. Here is another video to watch if you are interested to learn more.
