Who's Mike Bloomberg?

Mike Bloomberg is a 77-year old U.S. Democratic Presidential candidate for 2020 that had also been the former mayor of New York City.

Bloomberg is just one of the many presidential candidates out there that aims to replace the U.S. President Trump from his position.

As a result, Bloomberg is already part of the top five most leading Democratic Presidential candidates in the U.S. Having the top spots are Joseph Biden Jr., Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and Pete Buttigieg, according to the New York Times.

As of Dec., Bloomberg has already been the top spender on political ads.

Buttigieg's campaign only reached an amount of $4.6 million on Google ads since last April; Warren's has spent $3.7 million since last January, and Sanders has invested $3.2 million for ads since last February.

How Much is Mike Bloomberg Spending on his Ads?

Just like any other candidate, social media, or technology itself has become the main platform for politicians to be introduced and have their images and future programs promoted to reach millions of voters.

For Bloomberg, however, the amount of what he spent-- and what's he's still spending as of today-- was shockingly huge and more invested in unto social media websites.

As per Google, Bloomberg's campaign team has already spent an exact amount of $14,849,500 for his political ads to air everywhere online.

This is just only at the end of November 2019. Overall, Google said that Bloomberg has already spent nearly $200 million for his entire presidential campaign.

What's more interesting on this politician is that, compared to all his competitors from the presidential race, he is not spending any cent from money being donated to him as all his budget for his campaign came from his own pocket.

He even pledged an amount of $1 billion for his political campaign to win the next U.S. election.

If you think about it, Bloomberg seemed to be the most capable person to spend this staggering amount of money for his campaign since he owns media, financial, and software company Bloomberg L.P.

Furthermore, he even has an estimated net worth of over $50 billion, according to Forbes.
