Grand Theft Auto V launched over six years ago for the PS3 and the Xbox 360 and was re-released for the PS4, Xbox One, and finally PC a little later on. Since it was released, it has been one of the most acclaimed and best-selling titles of all time, with a steady player base that continues to play GTA Online regularly thanks to Rockstar Game's continuous support. Xbox Game Pass Lineup

With GTA V joining the Xbox Game Pass Lineup, Microsoft is already starting strong this 2020. Xbox already has very strong titles such as Halo: The Master Chief Collection and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on their repertoire. Both of these titles are available on both the Xbox and PC, with Halo: The Master Chief Collection titles rolling out slowly this year. Halo: Reach was the first to arrive last December, and Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary will be coming up next.

No word yet has come from Microsoft as to what other titles will be added to Xbox Game Pass' Lineup for January, but GTA V is definitely their biggest title for the month. Microsoft has been very quickly increasing the value subscribers get on the Xbox Game Pass. This is also good news because the upcoming Xbox Series X will also be supporting the Xbox Game Pass as well as offering backward compatibility with every generation of Xbox titles. The Xbox Series X is already looking more powerful than the Playstation 5 from a hardware perspective, but we're going to have to wait and see for their lineup of titles.
